Bobo’s Room – nursery artwork

If you are looking for beautiful artwork that can be customized to match your baby’s nursery colors, look no further. Paintings can coordinate with bedding, wallpaper, memorabilia, or toys that you love. Bobo’s Room paintings are painted with your baby in mind and are something that your child will cherish forever. I received two beautiful paintings from Bobo’s Room based on Madelyn’s nursery colors and am amazed at how well the paintings ‘flow’ with her room.

Paintings can even be personalized with your child’s name and the font of your choice (from a list of available fonts).

A coordinating ribbon trim can be added
for edging and hanging purposes.

Bobo’s Room paintings are truly one of a kind and are the perfect way to add a whimsical, personal touch to your baby’s nursery.

Chic&Clean™ Coveralls

As most of you know, Madelyn is starting to eat baby food. AND.. as most of you know, that means big messes!  I had pretty much gotten used to the idea that I would have to change Madely’s clothes after each feeded or just feed her with out clothes on. Not any more! I recently received a Chic & Clean Coverall from Chic Tots and what a difference it makes. I just slip the coverall on over whatever Madelyn is wearing and it is completely covered. There is not an inch of baby clothing uncovered. Now, the 75% of baby food that doesn’t make into Madelyn’s stomach ends up on her coverall instead of her clothes!  Chic Tots has several designs available including a trendy "Baddanna" print with scull and crossbones for those super hip babies out there!

The Chic & Clean Coverall is easy to wipe clean and simple to put on. Because Madelyn can’t yet stand on her own, the convenient open back with neck and leg snaps makes it simple to put on her while she is sitting which is a huge bonus.

Chic & Clean Coveralls fit kids up to 2 years old so I am sure she will continue to wear this at meal time as well as during play time. If Madelyn is anything like Sebastian was as a toddler, she will have the paints out everyday, she will make "food experiments" in the kitchen and believe me.. she will be wearing her Chic & Clean Coverall during all of these fun times.

The machine washable fabric is made of 100% cotton fabric coated with PUL, which creates a mildew resistant, waterproof, and stain free coverall.

School Zone has a new product line just for BABIES!

Madelyn’s newest favorite thing is her little pink mouse. She loves to chew on its tail. No, it’s not a real mouse.. Do you really think I would let a real mouse in my house?  It’s a ‘Clever Baby Card’ mouse from School Zone’s new product line just for BABIES! Yeah!! We love you School Zone!  The products are colorful, have purpose and are durable. Madelyn has tested them well. The products that we received have been chewed on, spit up on, drooled on, thrown, and dropped and so far, they have all survived their dramatic callings.

Madelyn loves to play with the Clever Baby Cards (for babies 6+ months) which come in a set of 5. Each card is double sided, printed with bright colors and each has some kind of texture or fabric attachment. Textures and attachments include crinkly areas, fur, rope, googly eyes, fuzz, and leathery material. The cards are just the right size for baby to hold and each card has an "easy to hold" area such as legs, a tail, a tongue and so on. The cards can be wiped clean.

A couple of other products in School Zones new baby line are the Happy Faces Infant
Mirror Cards and the Peek a Boo cards. Both of these products are for babies 9 months +.  Madelyn (now 7 months) loves to look in the mirror of card and she really enjoys when I read what’s on the cards to her. She is starting to get very excited when we play peek a boo and she smiles just as big when we play peek a boo with her School Zone peek a boo cards. She thinks they are so funny!

The Clever Baby Cards come in 2 ‘styles’: fuzzy animal and fuzzy farmyard friends. Because she loves her first set so much I will probably get her the farmyard set for Christmas.

Pumpadoodle personalized music for kids

The look on Sebastian’s face when he heard the music on this CD was priceless. I’m not kidding. He was so excited that he was the star of the songs. He danced, he sang, he jumped up and down!

Our Pumpadoodle CD travels with us from room to room in the house, it makes its way into the car and even to Grandmother’s house.

Our CD has four songs on it, two of which have a true rock n’ roll sound that Sebastian loves.

When you visit Pumpadoodle, you can listen to snipits of songs. You can choose from birthday songs, songs about friends, pets, holiday songs, sports, super hero’s and more.

The sound quality is great and singers voices are amazing. They really grab Sebastian’s attention and can pull even the most unsuspecting parent into the song.

Depending on which songs you order for your Pumpadoodle CD, you will be asked questions such as what is your child’s name, what is the name of one of their friends, what is their pets name, what is their bicycle seat cover, what city do you live in, what do they want for Christmas.  The songs are so personalized, your child will be in awe!

So Easy Baby Food Kit

You won’t believe what I did this weekend!  I made baby food!!

I always thought it would be such a hassle to make baby food, but I was totally wrong. With Fresh Baby’s So Easy Baby Food Kit, it was a breeze, really.
The kit comes with a DVD which I watched first. The DVD shows you how to make a couple of different foods from start to finish so I went into the situation feeling comfortable.
The kit also comes with what is called a cworkbook (cookbook and workbook). The cworkbook explains when to start introducing certain foods, the nutrients in foods, how much of each food to buy for a recipe and more. The recipes are amazingly simple and easy to follow.

So, I went to Whole Foods bought some sweet potato’s and got to it!
The prep time was about 10 minutes. I cleaned and cut the sweet potato’s into small squares, added a little water, microwaved them for 10 minutes, then pureed them until they reached a good consitancy for Madelyn. You add water as you feel necessary. Each recipe comes with ‘extras’ such as cinamon that you can add at the appropriate age range which is listed next to the ‘extra’.
After I pureed the sweet potato’s I used a spoon to scoop them into the 2 freezer trays that came in the kit. Then I put the trays in the freezer overnight. Sunday morning, I took them out of the freezer and emptied the sweet potato cubes into Ziploc freezer bags for later consumption.

Sunday afternoon Madelyn told me that she sure would like some sweet potato’s (in her silent voice) so I took one sweet potato cube out of the freezer bag, microwaved it for about 20 seconds then fed her the YUMMY sweet potato’s. She loved them!  I was so excited that she was eating something that I made.  Besides breastmilk, I thought she would be lucky to ingest anything that I make from scratch.  🙂
