“Somewhere” was my mom and dad’s “song”–they fell in love to that, and I remember my mom becoming wistful and teary-eyed whenever she would hear it (she played the album over and over when I was a child!). Wed. 1/26 is their 50th anniversary! 50 years! These days, so many give up during difficult times long before. My brothers and I are sending them off to a sumptuous dinner and a night or two in a lovely hotel in Atlanta. Having just learned that WSS is in town, all the decent seats are sold out. Imagine how magical their anniversary would be, walking back in time, rekindling memories of falling in love to “Somewhere”…”Hold my hand and we’re half way there. Hold my hand and I’ll take you there! Somehow, Someday, Somewhere!”
Truly magical!
Truly love!
