What comes to mind when you think of your childhood? Your despise of beets (maybe that’s just me?), Barbie dolls, and Cabbage Patch Kids right? Did you know that Cabbage Pads Kids are celebrating their 25th anniversary? And to celebrate, one-of-a-kind replica’s of the original 1983 Cabbage Patch Kids dolls are being released, for a limited time. This is the first time they’ve been at retail since
their debut in 1983. The 25th Anniversary ‘Kids are even made with the same sculpts/molds and material.
As I took this 25th Anniversary Cabbage Patch Kid out of the box, the ‘Cabbage Patchy’ smell brought back memories. The look and feel of this Cabbage Patch Kid is exactly as I remember as a child. You can’t say that about ‘you-know-who’. HmmHmm.. her name starts with a "B".
Madelyn has two Cabbage Patch Kids and loves them both. It’s such a cool feeling knowing that Madelyn is playing with something
that I played with as a child. I hope that someday I will find
photographs of me with my Cabbage Patch Kids to show her.
