Wendy Playhouse

I have never seen a portable playhouse like this before. The quality is amazing with thick, plush fabric and sturdy polls holding the house together. The Wendy Playhouse is easily assembled. Sebastian, my 7 year old, helped me assemble ours and it took about 10 minutes.

Kids can play store, restaurant, lemonade stand and more with this unique playhouse. There is a drop down window which makes for a great checkout counter, so says Sebastian. The front doors Velcro together for must needed privacy and the floor can be wiped clean with a wet cloth.

The playhouse is very spacious. Sebastian and I have played Jenga, read stories and just relaxed in his playhouse.

Madelyn loves to sit in the playhouse and look at the bright colors.

The Wendy Playhouse can be taken apart and it doesn’t take up much packing room so you can take it to Grandma’s house.

Personalization is available! For example, you can choose "Sebastian’s Playhouse" or "Madelyn’s Boutique".

Miracle Blanket

Sleep? What’s that? Almost all parents of newborns ask that question to themselves daily for a few months at least. Newborns do not have the best ability to calm themselves as they are used to being gently rocked in mom’s womb which is no longer the case when they enter this great big, bright, noisy world!  As most of you may already know, I am a huge believer in the 4 trimester which simply put, is a belief that babies should be treated as if they are still in the womb for 3 months after birth.
One great way to achieve this comforting feeling is to swaddle your baby. Babies are confined to a tiny space for 9 months where they are not able to make spastic movements such as they do when after birth. Babies are not able to control their arm and leg movements for a few months so swaddling eases baby’s movements and gives baby a feeling of security. It is a fact that babies need sleep for good development.  With the Miracle Blanket, getting baby to sleep is easier as you don’t have to hold down flailing arms and legs.

With so many "swaddling blankets" available today, it can be difficult to choose one that you feel comfortable with and that your baby will enjoy. The Miracle Blanket was made with parents and babies in mind. The blanket is thin and flexible making it easy to use and comfortable for baby. The Miracle Blanket is recommended by pediatricians and nurses.

I love the Miracle Blanket. It is simple to use. It is cut with swaddling in mind.. it is not cut like an ordinary blanket. The Miracle Blanket comes to you with instructions and you can find instructions on the website.

Custom Birth Announcements @ PB Kisses

Pbkisses2
It is every parents wish to have the cutest baby announcements ever, right?  Well, it was mine.  When Sebastian was born (now 7), we went to the ‘paper shop’ in the mall and ordered baby announcements there. They were cute… but they weren’t custom. This time around, I got lucky and received the most wonderful custom baby announcments from PB Kisses. My wish came true! PB Kisses announcments are not your everyday announcments. You can’t order anything like these from a ‘paper store’.

When shopping at PB Kisses, parent start by choosing from several designs. Mom and Dad can customize the color of their announcments.  Parents can even request to have their color photograph turned into black and white or sepia which I think is just beautiful. The process is simple.. you simply choose the design you want from a page full of designs, click the Order button on the website and fill out a quick form that gives Angela all of the information she needs to design your custom baby announcments.

What’s even better? You can have custom mailing labels, thank you cards, party invites, holiday cards, baptism invites, and change of address cards made too!

Way to go Angela!!

Fisher Price Soothing Motions Glider

Soothing Motions GliderThis has been a life saver for us! Madelyn has slept in our room since birth and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The only issue we have had is finding something that she will fall asleep in and stay asleep in for several hours at a time. I tried a bouncy seat, a bassinett, I even put her in the bed with us using one of those new co-sleepers, but none of those seemed to satisfy her.

Then, I got the Soothing Motion Glider. What a great product. The Soothing Motions Glider glides back and forth or side to side with the click of a switch. The gentle gliding motion mimicks the motion  that we have when rocking baby back and forth in our arms which baby’s love.

You can turn the glider ‘seat’ 360 degrees so no matter where you are in the room, baby can see you.

The glider plays 2 tunes; one for awake times and one for sleepy times.

The soothing motions glider is easy to take on trips and believe me.. we do!  I don’t leave home even for one night without it!

The only issue I have with this product is that it seems to go through batteries pretty quick. Other than that it is great and I recommend the Soothing Motions Glider to all new parents!

Monogrammed Diaper Bag

Do you ever forget who you are? I do! Sometimes I have to remind myself that I am "mom" and so having this great monogrammed bag from Lovely Stitches helps because it’s got "Mom’s Bag" monogrammed on it. I will never forget again!

OK, so that’s a little dramatic.. 🙂 but seriously, you can have a bag monogrammed with your name or initials. Even better, you can choose the fabric, the type of closure (magnetic, ribbon, button, or Velcro), the thread color, and the style of the bag.  Each bag is handcrafted just for the buyer.

I recieved the Monogrammed Handbag in Pink & Brown Floral with Brown Ribbon Tie. It has 3 pockets inside that can hold sunglasses, a toy, baby powder, and a camera. I was able to fit several diapers, a few toys, my wallet, extra clothes. I could have probably put a wipe case, and a blanket in the bag as well.
