After getting several compliments on my daughter’s outfit this morning I thought I would go online and find links to the pieces she’s wearing and share them with my readers.  The main reason being.. that the clothes were so inexpensive and I feel obligated to share the incredible deals I got with my readers.  I can’t for the life of me though, find the sweater and long sleeve top Madelyn’s wearing. on the Carter’s website  so I’m a little frustrated about that.  I did find the OshKosh Vintage Dark Trouser Jeans she’s wearing on Target’s (I bought them in the store.. on a whim) website.  I just love the way the OshKosh Vintage Dark Trouser Jeans fit Madelyn.  The boot let style gives her legs plenty of room to wiggle while the waist is nice and fitted.

Silly me..

A Carter’s store opened near me a few months ago, or maybe a year ago, but I hadn’t been in the store until recently when I went in to kill a few minutes before a Dr’s appointment.  30 minutes later I left with $60 less in my wallet and 10 new pieces for my 4 year old!  How amazing is that? I can’t believe there was this gem of a store so close to me and I hadn’t even been.  Silly me.  I got Madelyn a pair of unicorn pajama’s, a sweater vest (photo above), 4 long sleeve tops, and four pairs of leggings for just $60.

Having two kids has left me with a body that I don’t feel great about which is why it’s important for me to try to look good even if I know I’m going to be at home all day.  I work from home (most of the time) and as tempting as it is to stay in my pajamas all day, I don’t feel good about myself if I’m in my P.J.’s past 10a.m..  I’m not a sweat suit kind of girl so I mostly wear nice-ish (not button downs but not t-shirts either) shirts and shorts or skirts, around the house and unfortunately I’ve become too comfortable in a few select pieces and wear them too often.  My husband is probably sick of seeing me in the same outfit a few days a week so I’m going to try to invest in a couple of lounge dresses like those featured below which look so super comfy.. and sexy!

Why Madelyn (3 years old) loves it

Similar to Madelyn’s favorite 3 year old blankie warmly regarding as Fuzzy, her new Chipoupine sweater is ultimately plush and comfy. She would wear it 24/7 if she could.
It’s like she’s wearing her blankie. This sweater will keep her warm in the coldest Atlanta weather.

This sweater fuzzy inside and out. The stylish lining inside the neck area and arm cuffs adds to its whimsical Bjork’ish’ design. Not only do I love the big green dot on the sweater but my 10 year old loves it to and treats it like a great excuse for a Nerf target and chases Madelyn around house shooting at her. Don’t worry, he shoots the super light darts at her and isn’t allowed to get her from shoulders up. The over-sized arms are nice as they cover her arms well and keep them very warm. The 100% microfibre fabric lets Madelyn’s skin breathe.

Madelyn is wearing the Sweater teddy turquoise. The low v-neck design is nice because like me Madelyn isn’t fond of high necks. For me it’s a claustrophobia thing.. not sure about her dislike for high necks though. Maybe it’s a toddler thing like socks with seams.. she doesn’t tolerate them at all.
