This is a great gadget for a toddler or school age child or a parent who’s child’s sleep patterns need adjusted… like mine! What a dream it would be to sleep in until I WANT Madelyn to get out of bed… 9:00a.m. would be great but I’d settle for 8:30. With the help of the Good Nite Lite she is beginning to understand that she can’t get out of bed in the wee hours of the night. The Good Nite Lite sun illuminates at 7:30 a.m., the time I’ve programmed it to so that she knows that it is OK for her to get out of bed. I’ll let you know when I can push the time back to 8:30a.m… which will be.. uh, never.

More about the Good Nite Lite

Program the time you want the sun to illuminate in the morning and when you want the moon to illuminate in the evening so your child knows when it’s time to get up and go to bed.

It’s fun to look at!

The Good Nite Lite features a friendly, glowing moon/sun face that changes from a Moon to a Sun at the programmed “wake-up” time and from a Sun to a Moon at the programmed “bedtime.” Children rapidly come to associate the moon image with the knowledge that it is still bedtime and the sun with the idea that it is the correct time to wake up. During the day, the Good Nite Lite automatically shuts off to eliminate any distractions and to conserve energy.

The Good Nite Lite will help your child learn that he/she needs to stay in bed until the ‘the sun is on’ as Madelyn says.

One minor fault I see with the Good Nite Lite is that it covers both outlets so you can’t have another device plugged into the second outlet while the Good Nite Lite is plugged in.

The Good Nite Lite is available online at www.goodnitelite.com for just $34.99.

From there I usually add those notes to the appropriate iPhone app such as Shopper or NotifyMe.
Without my Moleskine notebook, my thoughts may never make it to completion. What a disaster that would be!

What is Moleskine?
MOLESKINE is the legendary notebook that has held the inspirations and ideas of everyone from Van Gogh, Picasso and Hemingway to famed author, Bruce Chatwin. Artists, authors, and geniuses of all variety have long appreciated the simplicity and superior functionality of these notebooks.

Moleskine notebooks and planners are available in several sizes. The 3.5 x 5.5 in. pocket notebooks are the perfect size to carry in a purse or diaper bag and are great for jotting down your baby’s latest diaper change or that funny thing your toddler said during your playgroup. I use the large A4 Folio Notebook for work notes and for jotting down thoughts I have while at home or in my office.

Moleskine notebooks, journals, and planners make great holiday gifts! Get a pocket hard cover 18 month planner for $12.95 or my favorite Moleskine gift idea is the Volant Color-A-Day Monthly Daily Planner (photo above) which is usually $39.95 but our readers get 30% off by using the link below.

COUPON CODE:
Use coupon code COLORDEAL, and get 30% off of the Volant Color-A-Month Daily Planner (no minimum, no maximum).
There is a cool crisp breeze in the air, apple festival time has arrived and Halloween decorations fill the stores. Gone are cotton sundresses, it is time for dressing up my toddler in tights and warmer dresses and skirts. She has several pair of tights, but her favorites are the styles from Oilily. Oilily tights are thick, cozy and hold in the washer and dryer. They also come in charming colorful designs that look adorable on little girls’ legs. They look very pretty with fall dresses and corduroy skirts.

Shearling boots would be the perfect complement to these fun tights or how about a pair of sweet mary janes?
