Clean-green-carpet If you have pets, like a huge number of American families, then you are likely to spend money and time on cleaning carpet and upholstery.  What you might not know is that a lot of carpet cleaning solutions/products contain toxic ingredients.  What a great way to clean right?

Clean + Green is the only eco-friendly
aerosol pet cleaning product on the planet and is safe for pets, and kids. Unlike most other cleaning products
that can be harmful, require multiple applications and/or only temporarily mask
odors, Clean+Green delivers instant results in a non-toxic, eco-friendly
solution. Clean+Green permanently cleans pet stains and eradicates odors.

Clean+Green is made with
ingredients and materials that are all-natural, 100% biodegradable, and
recyclable. That means that not only are you being eco-conscious in choosing
Clean+Green, but you are also protecting your family and pets from harmful
chemicals that can be found in other popular cleaning products.

I actually wrote this review in early March and failed to publish it (sorry) and since then I've learned first hand the great cleaning power of Clean + Green!  Thank you SeaYu!  Clean+Green is available at PETCO®,
PetSmart®, Pet Supplies Plus® and other retailers that sell pet specialty
products in the US and Canada, as well as through the Clean+Green site -
www.sea-yu.com.

I’ve been learning more about safer cleaning supplies from a book I bought called “The Lazy Environmentalist on a Budget,” by Josh Dorfman. Although this book doesn’t completely focus on this topic, it has great tips about this and anything else you can imagine that can help save the environment on a budget we can all afford.
Of course I would buy this book because I love saving money, who doesn’t especially these days? But also because I want to be more eco-friendly. I think we could all benefit learning to be a bit more eco-safe.
In this chapter Non Toxic Cleaning Supplies, I learned the best ways to clean especially having a little one around. You definitely don’t want your child sucking on the table after you just cleaned it with bleach or what not…these ideas help me understand what’s good for my child and what’s healthy and affordable. I absolutely love this book it’s so informative and full of useful information you can always refer back to.
Josh Dorfman definitely did his research. Check out more info here: http://www.lazyenvironmentalist.com/
