Don't you hate it when you get the kids out of the bathtub, you pull the drain stopper out, and the bath water takes forever to drain?  I am a visualizer and can't stand it when that happens because I visualize everything that might be stuck in the drain clogging it.  Gross!!
So, what do you do?  You grab the drain cleaner.

I never thought about it until recently but computers also slow down because they get clogged.  Surfing the internet, working, playing games, storing files, writing reports.. all of these things take a toll on our hard working computers which ultimately leads to a clogged system.  System Mechanic and it's set-and-forget ActiveCare 2.0 features
make it easy for me as a work from home mom to get on with my work day
and not have to take time out of my busy work and family schedule to
perform much needed regular maintenance on my computer.

Top reasons your computer slows down and issues that System Mechanic fixes:

  1. Start up overload
  2. Registry errors
  3. Remnants of Uninstalled Programs

Installing Iolo System Mechanic is simple and watching it do it's work is so satisfying.  It's the same feeling as when my 2 year old blows her nose and can breath again when she has a bad cold. (like now!)

System
Mechanic fixes, speeds up and maintains PC's so they run like
new forever
. The software
combines more than 40 robust tools enabling novices and experts alike to clean
out their computers and keep them in peak condition.

Priced at around $49.95, Iolo System Mechanic 8.0 is a great investment that will improve your PC's performance and keep your computer running smoothly.

When my computer slows down or starts acting erratically, I get stressed.  Most likely, I am trying to get as much work done as possible in a very short period of time, and don't have time to wait on a program to open when it should open instantaneously or to find a file that shouldn't take more than 2 seconds to find.  Since using System Mechanic, I've noticed a big difference in my computer's speed and performance.
How does your computer's performance affect you?
(tell me below and you're automatically entered to win a copy!)

I have 5 copies of Iolo System Mechanic 8 to GIVEAWAY!
In celebration of Clean Out Your Computer Day, February 9th, I am giving away 5 copies of Iolo System Mechanic 8!   Subscribe to our email or RSS updates (top of right column) and I'll enter you to win one of 5 copies of System Mechanic!

It’s the start up with my computer – it takes forever! I know I should be more environmentally friendly and shut it down more often but I can’t deal with waiting ten minutes every time I want to use it…

i get very nervoius and frustrated when my computer works bad.

4 Raymond Tock February 9, 2009 at 10:17 am

Start-up very slow

5 Deb February 9, 2009 at 10:19 am

Like you, I too get a little cranky when I’m trying to get something done on the computer and suddenly it stops responding. Yeah, I know I push my resources to the limit. :) But there are lots of simple maintenance things that can be done to clean up the system and make it more efficient, and a reliable piece of software can help with this. I haven’t tried Iolo System Mechanic but I’d love to win a copy and try it on my Vista PC!

Forgot to add that I already subscribe to the newsletter – that’s where I heard about this great giveaway!

7 Teri February 9, 2009 at 10:26 am

It is serendipity that I received your newsletter this morning! Before I went to bed last night, I set my computer to defragment. This morning, it was still running! It is only a little better, (sigh). This giveaway sounds ideal!

I GET STRESSED when it doesn’t work right which is every darn day. I just don’t know what to do with it any more besides starting over by buying a new computer which of course I can’t afford to do. UGH!

Number one: Thanks for the Contest. I would love to save precious time I could be spending with my family instead of trying to figure out the errors on my computer and why it is taking so long to load different sites. Time is of the essence.

16 vicki douglas February 9, 2009 at 11:41 am

It seems like a good product to have. Hope I win one!

17 Sherre Schwartz February 9, 2009 at 11:42 am

I would love to win this! I really need one!

18 Barbara February 9, 2009 at 12:07 pm

It drives me crazy. I enter contests, as you can see, and when a site doesn’t come up, or it takes too long to totally install I usually just move on. this sounds great.

My computer is filled with junk, and starts way too slow.

20 Barbara McCrea February 9, 2009 at 12:24 pm

My computer is so slow on start up, and there are software products that I have installed trying to help my computer, and ended up crashing it then having to be removed, but they always leave pieces, so my computer is running slower all the time, This would be a huge help, Thanks for the chance!

21 c johnson February 9, 2009 at 12:35 pm

The perfect thing for the shared computer! I try to keep an eye on it, but generally get pulled in when there is a problem (the kids complain) and who knows what they did to slow it down…

22 Peggy Gorman February 9, 2009 at 1:22 pm

I would love to clean my computer. I hate it when its slow or I have to stop what I am doing to restart. Count me in ,my computer needs a good cleaning.

Thanks

I have to spend time clicking “exit” on all the junk that pops up with start up everyday (yeah I can’t figure out how to remove it). And sometimes my poor computer browser just crashes from overload… frustrating!
I would LOVE this product… just what I need!

My computer shuts itself off at times when I am on the internet. Terribly frustrating.

27 Maggie M February 9, 2009 at 4:11 pm

I have began to notice how slow programs are loading, takes forever to go from blog to blog content and it is very frustrating. I began taking notice of those PC-Fast commericals on TV so it would be so great to win the lolo System Mechanic. I’d install it right away!

My computer is in desperate need of a tuneup!! I did a sample run where they will clean out a few things for you and it said there were over 500 items to be cleaned out!! This poor old thing is slow and freezes up and kicks me out way too much. Take pity on my poor baby and let me win a copy of this program !!
