3d_schoolzoneFlash cards with 3D lenticular printing

These are so neat. These holograph cards are sure to get the attention of your 3-5 year old. They will make learning time extra fun.

The ‘holograph’ printing allows multiple images to appear on each of the 26 letter flash cards. As your child moves a card back and forth, the image of the letter and the picture representing the letter will be seen.
These flash cards will provide your 3-5 year old with must needed reading readiness skills.  Madelyn loves the 3D cards, but because she is too young to appreciate the alphabet, her favorite part of the 3D Think & Blink Alphabet cards is the carrying case. She loves to put the cards in and take them out and carry them around the house. That is not what’s important here though.
These days our kids are surrounded by action and excitement and sometimes we need to approach education the same way to keep their attention. The holograph ‘action’ will keep your child’s attention while she is learning to identify beginning sounds, alphabet order, and letter recognition.

These fun, unique, and educational cards are only $6.99 and I don’t think you will find anything else like them.

Our special Educational Toy segment is coming soon!

Mark your calendar! Our testing panel made up of children ages 0 – 14, have been working hard (playing hard) preparing for the launch of our special Educational Toys segment due to go live around October 24th.  So far, our testers have approved products from both LeapFrog and VTech! I know you will love learning about the products featured in this segment.

Why are we featuring this segment?  We have children of our own and we know that around this time of the school year, kids are getting bored with school and the initial excitement of starting school and learning new things has simmered down to an all time low.  In this segment we will share with you some great educational toys for children ages 0 – 12 that both parents and kids will enjoy. What a concept!

Subscribe to our newsletter and be notified when the Educational Toys segment is live.

UPPAbaby Bubble

UppababybubbleHow many times have you had to take your baby out of the car in her car seat and run through the rain with just the car seat sun shield covering her?  I have gone through that more than a couple of times. When Madelyn was still in her infant car seat, I tried to have a blanket in the car at all times for just that situation.

Now there is a product especially for infant car seats that protects baby from the elements. It is called the Bubble.  When I first saw this product I thought it must be a pain to put it on when you need it and take it off when you don’t.  I learned though, that the Bubble can stay on the infant car seat!  The seat base is not inside the Bubble nor is the infant car seat handle. How neat is that?

Protect your baby from all kinds of weather on-the-go:The UPPAbaby Bubble fits easily over most infant car seats to protect
against sun, rain, wind and bugs. Whether you’re out
a stroll or traveling,  the Bubble is your complete solution to car seat protection from the elements.

Features:

  • Fold out sun protection layer- SPF 50+
  • Fold out wind/rain protection layer
  • Zip open insect protection layer
  • Universal fit compatible with most infant car seats
  • Pop-open action, no assembly required
  • Lightweight and easy to fit, folds into handy travel bag

Luvs diaper review

While we are waiting for Madelyn’s Seventh Generation diapers to arrive, I decided to try Luvs diapers instead of the usual Huggies or Pampers we use for backup.
That was a mistake. When I got Madelyn out of bed this morning, she was soaking wet! Yuck!!
Madelyn is 17 months and wears a size 4 diaper. She didn’t drink anymore last night than any other night so I can’t blame the overflow on more liquid consumption.

I would rather pay a few cents more per diaper than have to spend time in the morning giving Madelyn a bath, undressing her bed, washing her bedding, then putting the bedding back on.   It seems like I would spend more money on water consumption (from washing her bedding) than by spending a little more on better diapers.

I will stick to our favorite diaper brand, Seventh Generation from now on. I just have to order them sooner so we don’t run out again.

This is where I buy Seventh Generation diapers.
