Your Baby Can Read!

I never thought Madelyn would read before she was two years old.. or four years old for that matter.  The ‘Your Baby Can Read’ videos and cards have proven me wrong.  The most natural time to learn any aspect of language is during the infant and toddler years. There is a natural window of opportunity for learning language where it is easier for children to learn to understand and speak our language at a high level. During this window of opportunity, between the ages of 3 months and 5 years, they can also learn the written word naturally and easily.
My favorite aspect of the ‘Your Baby Can Read!’ videos and cards is that Madelyn can see both the actual word and the object or action. For example, one card says ‘clap’ on it and when you slide the picture out, you see a baby clapping. Madelyn caught onto the word clap very quickly.

I am very impressed with this system and recommend that you give it a try. It is so exciting to see Madelyn pointing to her nose just by looking at the word nose!  How fun!!
